Biography

Javier Schialer is a bi-lingual, Peruvian-American actor. He was born in Lima, Peru and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina and Seattle, Washington. During his senior year of high school he became interested in modeling, which opened doors to the commercial world that would lead to his first acting jobs.

Commercially he was worked for brands such as Nike, Adidas, REI, Reebok, Nordstrom, Brooks, Ford, Chevy, Microsoft, Amazon, Tommy Bahama and Target. However it was after he filmed the short "Color TV, No Vacancy", that kick-started his interest in acting. After taking a semester of theater in college, he knew this is what he would pursue after graduation.

He stayed busy in the Pacific Northwest's Indie film market, filming multiple projects throughout the years & learning from the top acting coaches in the area. He started with a very technical Stanislavski approach with coach/director/producer John Jacobsen, to then practicing a spiritual & audition focused technique with casting director/coach/executive producer Nike Imoru (CSA). He also trained with Uta Hagen based coach/casting director Heidi Walker (Twin Peaks, 10 Things I Hate About You, Northern Exposure). Along with with multiple workshops led by Jodi Rothfield (CSA), Eryn Goodman (CSA), LA Based actor/director Tim True, and actor/director/producer Tony Doupé. Now living in LA he has trained with CB Acting Studios, as well as with coach/casting director Jamie Castro (CSA) and improv classes with Lifebook Acting Academy. In New Mexico training continued with Kathryn Brink (CSA) and he's excited to keep learning and expanding his craft.

Javier is represented in LA, Seattle/Portland, New Mexico & Hawaii. Some of his latest award winning films include "Big Trouble In Seattle" (Amazon), "B.U.M.", "Just A Little While Longer" & "Side Effect". Look out for his upcoming performances in the feature films "We're Not Married?", "Bear Naked", "California Coyote" & the TV Show "Chicken Girls".
