Swapnil Narendra is an Indian writer, director and storyteller whose work spans children’s publishing, animation, television, web series, advertising, and original IP development.
He began his career in 2009 as a children’s storybook writer and entered screenwriting with Roll No 21 in 2010. He has since written for several indigenous Indian animated and live-action projects, including Batu Gaiden, widely regarded as India’s first anime feature film.
Over the years, he has worked across multiple formats including television, web series, and branded content, and has also directed projects across advertising and digital platforms. His work has been recognized with several industry awards.
He is the co-founder and creative architect at a-tom Content Studio, where he leads storytelling and creative direction across campaigns and content. Alongside his professional work, he develops original IPs, including Aavirbhaav, a desi horror storytelling project, and co-runs Saptaahant, a platform documenting autism parenting through his experiences with his son, Medhya.
