Biography

Will Austin is a British actor whose screen work spans blockbuster film, acclaimed television drama, and cult sci-fi.

On film, he has appeared in The Batman, directed by Matt Reeves, opposite Zoë Kravitz; Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation alongside Tom Cruise; and Sonic the Hedgehog 3, featuring Krysten Ritter and James Marsden.

On television, Will appeared in the acclaimed Sky Atlantic crime drama Gangs of London as Dave, with scenes opposite Sope Dirisu. He also played Tony in ITV’s Coldwater alongside Andrew Lincoln, and Vorm in Doctor Who, appearing opposite Jodie Whittaker.

His further television credits include seven episodes of Casualty and 24: Live Another Day.

Alongside his acting work, Will is an experienced filmmaker, working as a cinematographer and editor on short films including I Have To Tell You Something, Vigilant, Roots of You, and the ten-part web series Toast, starring Clara Rugaard.

Since 2021, Will has worked as a director, cinematographer, and editor for the London 48 Hour Film Project, earning Best Cinematography in 2023 (Grit) and Best Directing in 2025 (What Are You Into?). His films have also won Best Film in both 2023 and 2025, created in collaboration with Jade Nicholson-Lamb and Charlotte Rooney-Baker.
