Biography

Shae-Marie Martinez was born on December 9, 1993 in Glendora, California with her mother, Cynthia Martinez, her father Javany Martinez and her two older sisters Vanessa and Jaelene. Shae grew up on the arts, always taking extracurricular drama, video production and acting classes. Her love for Cinema would eventually lead her to test her own skills as a director with her very first short film Beside Myself which would act as a precursor to it's sequel 'Beside Myself the Sequel'. Shae would go on to direct multiple short films after that. Inevitably, Shae wound up trying her hand at other aspects of film making until she landed upon Special Effects Makeup which is a talent that Shae had no idea she possessed and she ran with it. After taking some private classes with Kato Destefan, who is an incredibly well established makeup artist in Hollywood, Shae would go on to be the Makeup Department Head on the feature film Bloody Bobby at the tender age of 19. Shae also assumed the same position on another feature film Detectives of Easter Island at the age of 20. With already 2 feature films and multiple short films under her belt, there is no telling what Shae will do next.
