John S. Savage retired from film in 2020. After a string of failed projects he decided to leave the business and concentrate on other interests. He has not participated in the arts in any capacity since, and plans to keep it that way. At time of writing (March 2025) he is living a reclusive lifestyle of happily walking his dog in the middle of the night while pondering the purpose of the BBC.
