Biography

Kaan Akyol is a Turkish-American SAG-AFTRA actor, filmmaker, and storyteller based in the NYC/NJ market. A U.S. Army veteran and former law enforcement officer, his work is often drawn to grounded characters, psychological tension, and stories exploring grief, trauma, and the unknown.

He wrote, directed, and starred in Don’t Break the Circle, earning Best Actor at New Jersey Horror Con & Film Festival for his performance in the film. Kaan trained in the Meisner technique at the Houde School and continues to study under James Ciccone in New York City. His work spans stage and screen, with a particular passion for atmospheric horror and character-driven storytelling.
