Prokopis Agathokleous

Prokopis Agathokleous is a Greek Cypriot actor known for his work in theater, film and television, gaining wider recognition for portraying Saint Paisios in the series Saint Paisios: From Farasa to Heaven (2022). A graduate of the Higher Drama School of the National Theatre of Greece, he has built a substantial stage career through collaborations with the National Theatre of Greece, the Cyprus Theatre Organization (THOC) and Attis Theatre, working with directors such as Dimitris Papaioannou, Giannis Kakleas, Michail Marmarinos, Nikos Karathanos and Theodoros Terzopoulos. His theatrical work has included productions such as "Still Life", which toured internationally across Europe, America, Asia and Australia, "Trojan Women", "Richard III" and "City Lights", where his performance as Charles Chaplin received strong critical attention and award nominations. In 2020 he received the THOC New Creator of the Year award for his portrayal of Richard III under the direction of Paris Erotokritou. Alongside his theater career, Agathokleous has appeared in films including Pause (2018), Iman (2022) and [link=tt7385554, as well as television productions in Cyprus and Greece. In recent years he has continued balancing classical theater, contemporary performance and screen acting, including appearances in "Phoenician Women" and the continuing success of Agios Paisios: Apo ta Farasa ston Ourano.
