Deepti Kingra-Mickelsen

Deepti Kingra-Mickelsen (née Kingra) was born on 14th October in Jabalpur, India to a Punjabi father and a Malayali mother. She's fluent in Hindi, Urdu, Malayalam and conversational in Punjabi. She and her family relocated to San Diego, California when she was 10. Before endeavoring into films, she began her training with theatre. She graduated from California State University of Northridge with a theatre degree. Though classically trained in Kathak, she enjoys all forms of dance. She's studied martial arts and is particularly skilled with sword and staff. In addition to being an actor, Deepti was the artistic director of an independent not-for-profit theatre company for 5 years before moving to Los Angeles to pursue film and television.
