Biography

Ivett was born in Hungary in 1986 and moved to Canada as a young child. After not being attracted to other sports she tried, Ivett was introduced to taekwondo. By the age of 17, she had qualified for her first of two Olympic Games ('04, '08). Ivett competed in 6 World Championships, 4 Pan Am Championships, 2 Pan Am Games and 1 European Games including a gold medal in 2011. As one of Canada's most decorated athletes in history, Ivett also won the Canadian National Championships over a dozen times.

Ivett's talent in combat sport made it a natural progression when she moved into stunt work. Her decades in the ring made her very aware of her lines and attacks which translated quickly to her strong understanding of camera angles and the ability to get the right shot. Ivett has dedicated herself to expanding her skill set to include other martial art styles, wire work, free diving certifications, PADI, equestrian and motor sports. This breadth of experience has opened doors to Ivett having over 60 appearances in Flash and 20+ appearances in both Batwoman and Arrow.

Ivett ran a successful sport based business for over 10 years which resulted in additional national and international champions. She also provided opportunities for coaches to learn and progress to the highest levels in the sport. Ivett has Comp-Dev certification in coaching which has translated well to her ability to work with other performers.

Ivett has begun working as an Assistant Stunt Coordinator on Percy Jackson after coordinating episodes of Flash over the past couple of seasons. While moving into this role, Ivett has continued to perform as well and continued to expand her skill set. She has translated her knowledge as a performer into her coordinating roles, focusing on the ability to dial in stunts in the most efficient way possible.
