Biography

Mela Lopez is an actress, singer, and dancer from Mexico.

She made her theater debut as the lead in the Mexican production of "Hairspray" in 2010.

She holds a BFA in Dance and in 2012 she moved to Los Angeles to further her performing arts training where she has worked in theater and film projects.

Mela is a certified Yoga Teacher by the Yoga Alliance. She completed her training in Hatha Yoga in Rishikesh, India in 2015.

Mela has translated scripts, librettos, and captions for film, and has collaborated with an L.A. based social media marketing agency translating captions and supporting accounts for bilingual actors.

While pursuing an acting career, Mela supported herself by teaching and tutoring Spanish to Hollywood families and celebrities.
