Paul was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and moved to Nashville, Tennessee
shortly afterwards. His family finally settled in Douglasville, Georgia
where he spent most of his life before attending LaGrange College in
Georgia. After receiving his undergraduate in Music Composition and
Technology from LaGrange, Paul moved to Chicago where he received his
Master's in Music Composition for the Screen at Columbia College,
Chicago.
After receiving his masters he moved to Los Angeles where he worked as an intern and assistant to Jeff Rona. Along with his other projects Paul spends much of his time as assistant to composer Reinhold Heil.
