Michaella Vu is an American actor and filmmaker whose work spans traditional cinema, and emerging media such as virtual reality. She is the daughter of 90s infomercial personality / later pro-poker player Tommy Vu and Greek-born mom. Vu began her acting training at fourteen under Lalanya Masters before moving to New York City, where she studied at Susan Batson Studios. After relocating to Los Angeles, she expanded her creative work into filmmaking and immersive media.

In 2016, Vu made her directorial debut with Neural Path VR Experience, a virtual reality film that premiered at the Virtual Reality Toronto conference and subsequently appeared at other festivals and events. She later created Meta-Dimensional, a transmedia storytelling project exploring the intersection of 360-degree filmmaking, immersive web experiences, and evolving forms of audience engagement.

As both a performer and storyteller, Vu is drawn to projects that challenge conventional narrative structures and explore the evolving relationship between technology, cinema, and human experience.
