Mayling Ng is a real life Warrior Superhero. A recognized Shaolin Black Belt in 9 Kung Fu weapons and an award winning Fitness Champion, she has combined her acting experience, skill set and unique look to find success in the film industry with roles in DC Comics films such as The Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman. Ng brings a unique global perspective to the film industry that is fast getting the attention of studios playing fierce characters in nearly a dozen features films so far while performing her own action scenes.

Daughter to a Singaporean Chinese father and British mother, Mayling's appeal goes beyond her exotic looks and strong warrior guise and physique. Born in the UK, she spent her early years in Tenerife, Canary Islands before moving to Singapore where her acting career began which led her to the Hong Kong Action Martial Art film industry. Growing up in diverse continents has led Mayling to hone her understanding of various cultures, which she couples with her passion and pursuit to advance her acting career. Mayling now resides in Los Angeles, often traveling to Europe and Asia whenever and wherever work dictates.

She is trained in Shaolin Kung Fu, Taekwondo, Muay Thai, Jeet Kune Do, Kickboxing and Eskrima and is also extensively trained in using weapons such as swords, Bo staffs, nun chucks and knives as well as archery and firearms such as pistols, rifles and shotguns through her time with Raw Combat International.

I probably look like a crazy ex-girlfriend out for revenge. If I didn't have a licence for my weapons I would probably get in a lot of trouble. But once I say it's for my daily training and explain what I do, people instantly relax.

I don't want to be a Bond girl, I want to be a Bond villain! Villains have the best fight scenes. It's easier to play the snarling and chilling warrior ripping a man's head off, than simpering submissive damsel in distress - that's not me.

I grew up in Liverpool, told to be quiet, stay in a corner. My father wanted me to marry a businessman and have babies, lead a quiet life. It helped drive me toward being a warrior. My brothers are all successful businessmen, but I'm in Hollywood jumping off buildings. If you tell me not to do anything, I'll work 100 per cent harder to prove I can do it.

You only have one life. I won't regret anything. I'll try anything. I don't care if I make a fool of myself. How can I fly off buildings? How can I not?
