Biography

Joel Kullberg was born on February 15,1983 in Norrkoping, Östergötlands län, Sweden as Joel Viktor Kullberg. A versatile actor raised in the west coast of Sweden. He's first official performance, was in a playwright [by Elsa Beskow] playing the title role. Entertainment during "the happy hours" were elements. A stage production at the nationally known event "the evening of the seven", was performed years after. This show is locally performed every year, throughout the whole country. Around this time, for this somewhat comedy sketch, he saw he's first real play for adults [by Lars Norén], and his first musical [by Willy Russell] at West End, London.

Later on auditioning for a Actingprogram, and got in. Here, in this high school there are participations in music projects, plays/acting and some dancing. Worth mentioning is he acted in two bigger plays with leading parts, and got a role as an extra [1999] in a grand screenplay. Graduation in theatre arts, in '02. A few years went by and a acting diploma, alongside credits within acting/singing at the university was reached. Occasional musicianship/modeling since 2008. One of the first movies getting cast in (as an Actor) is in the film called "the funeral". He on occasion visit workshops within music, dance, acting, stunt. The other year playing the role as the lieutenant in "The True Spirit Within". As of late (2025) there's communication with a musical director, and this performance would be a milestone this year, and a more serious start hereby this art form. Right before New Year's Eve 2024, a highlighted Christmas commercial with no sound was wrapped and briefly after Joel acted in "Ett parti schack". Supports the World Wildlife Foundation, Greenpeace and various settings in his own ways as in sharing links and individual donations from time to time.
