Romy Melhem

Romy Melhem is a Lebanese actress and musician with expressive screen presence and versatile roles across film and theater. She studied violin since the age of 6 and had always kept a strong link with singing and theater. While completing her BA in Theater at the Faculty of Fine Arts, she started her acting career playing in various award winning short films, and a feature film that have premiered in international festivals such as Locarno, Berlin, Cannes, Toronto, and Venice. She pursued her Flamenco passion from Beirut to Sevilla, at Fundacion Cristina Heeren De Arte Flamenco in 2013. Trained in acting, music, and flamenco, she has performed in several acclaimed productions and musical theater works, bringing emotional depth, precision, and bold character interpretation to every role. In 2026, her long awaited music album "Awālim" which she had been working on for more than 4 years now will be released.
