- Born in in Aurora, Colorado, Mikey J. White moved to Oklahoma at the age of five and grew up with a camera in his hand. From an early age, he was drawn to filmmaking, making movies with friends and developing a passion for acting and storytelling.
In 2005, White co-wrote and directed the web series *SuperMom Films*, which ran through 2009. Although the original footage has since been lost, the series marked one of his earliest serious ventures into writing, directing, and producing. During high school, he ran his own video production work, provided camera work for Every 15 Minutes, and participated in drama and competitive acting. He also played Ed Carmichael in a production of *You Can't Take It With You*.
After high school, White stepped away from filmmaking and eventually built a career in the culinary industry, spending more than a decade working as a chef and restaurant professional.
In recent years, White has returned to his original passion for film, focusing on both acting and screenwriting. He has several projects currently in development and recently co-starred in the award-winning independent film *Love, Santa*, marking a renewed commitment to pursuing film and storytelling.
