Biography

Maia Michaels is an award-winning Australian-Canadian actor who has worked internationally across film and television for over 15 years. She joins the ensemble of Academy Award-winning director Guy Nattiv’s The Liberation, alongside Carrie Coon, Lily James, Bella Ramsey, and Odessa Young.

Her recent work includes In Alaska, set to premiere at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival, and Worth the Wait alongside Lana Condor. Upcoming projects include The Mess We Made with Molly Ringwald and David Arquette, and Cowboy, starring Rudy Pankow.

Michaels has also appeared in various productions for Netflix, FOX, Amazon Prime Video, Tubi, Hallmark, and Lifetime. She is based in Vancouver, Canada.
