Rakesh Adiga is a versatile Kannada actor, rapper, director, and television personality who has made his mark in Sandalwood through a mix of lead roles, villain characters, and creative contributions across films and reality shows. A native of Bengaluru, he attended high school at Janaseva Vidya Kendra residential school and gained early recognition as the first Kannada rapper by forming the hip-hop band Urban Lads, produced by Suraj Sarja, blending music with his acting ambitions.
He launched his film career with the 2009 debut Jhossh, playing Rocky and earning the Suvarna Film Award for Best Debut Actor as the movie became one of the year's top grossers.
