Away from acting Jel is known as a London Firefighter and fire Safety Officer. Jel was awarded London's highest award in 2008, for saving a baby's life in 2007/08 New Year's Eve extreme house fire that would change he's outlook on life forever and bring he's dream of acting to reality. Jel is also a 2nd Degree Blackbelt in martial arts and continues with this as a way of life. Jel had written and produced a short film of two people's life stories and combined into one that went on to win an award in Hollywood International Moving Pictures Film Festival, then grew into an actor that emerges into any role to challenge him and to bring that best out of that character. Let's not forget Jel's love for animals and spending time hiking with he's dog.
