Iris Lammertsma is owner, producer and CEO of Witfilm. Witfilm is an Emmy Award-winning independent production company based in Amsterdam. Witfilm focuses on high-quality and artistically driven fiction features, avant garde films for young audiences, and creative and socially engaged documentaries. Witfilm (co-)produces both nationally and internationally. Many of its films have won prestigious prizes such as the International Emmy Award, FIPRESCI, Prix Europa, IDFA Awards, Prix Italia, and the Dutch Academy Awards and have been nominated for major awards including the Rose d’Or, BAFTA and Tiger Award (IFFR). By producing bold, visually powerful films of artistic quality, Witfilm aims to contribute to a thriving and diverse international film landscape.
