Joshua William Dun - known as Josh Dun- is the drummer for one of the most popular musical duos, "Twenty One Pilots." He was born in Columbus, Ohio on June 18, 1988. Before joining Twenty One Pilots, he was a member of the band "House of Heroes," whose drummer, Colin Rigsby, wanted to be temporarily replaced in order to spend more time with his family. He joined Twenty One Pilots in 2011 after the departure of original members Nick Thomas and Chris Salih. Now he and Tyler Joseph are the Twenty One Pilots and have released successful albums such as Blurryface, Vessel, Regional At Best and Trench.

Joshua "Spooky" Dun is currently known for his band "Twenty One Pilots," but he wasn't always a part of the two-man group that fans all around the world know today. He has been known to change his hair color and have unique hair colors that match their album style, For example, during the "Quiet is Violent tour," he had yellow hair, and during their "Emotional Roadshow" world tour, promoting their fourth studio album "Blurryface." He is also known to have a different color of drumsticks that he plays with on stage while on tour. In the Emotional Roadshow tour, he played with a pair of red sticks and would throw them into the crowd to their adoring fans. During their Bandito tour, Josh played with a pair of bright yellow drumsticks. During their shows, he is known to be held up above the pit while playing the drums on a platform known as "Drum Island," where Josh would hype the crowd up by playing parts of their songs rather than playing on his full drum kit. Instead, he would play with a snare drum, kick drum, hi-hat, and crash. Their shows are very energetic and Josh definitely plays a huge part in how excited the crowd gets, whether it be him being shirtless or doing backflips off of singer Tyler's piano (Yeah, he does that!).
