- Karan Anshuman (b 1980) is an Indian film writer, director, and producer. He is best known as the creator and director of Emmy-nominated drama Inside Edge, India's first OTT series that was Amazon Prime's first Indian original series. He is also the creator, director, and writer of Mirzapur, and the director and writer of Bangistan, his film debut.
Anshuman was raised and is based out of Mumbai. He studied filmmaking as an undergrad in the United States. He was also a film critic for Mumbai Mirror in the early 2010's.
