Biography

Jesse Akins first came to Los Angeles from Seattle after a ten year career in the US Army and attended the Musician's Institute as a Bassist, Vocalist and Songwriter. After falling in love with LA, he decided to study Audio Engineering and Post Production Audio. He has since worked as a Production Sound Mixer, Sound Editor and Rerecording Mixer on several short films, web series and Features.

A native of the Pacific Northwest, Jesse is also a combat wounded veteran with ten years of honorable military service (US ARMY), a Bass Guitarist and Vocalist with performance degrees in both, and an avid writer of science fiction and fantasy.
