Biography

Mikel Shane Prather is a Los Angeles based film composer with over 150 music credits under his belt. His style is limitless as he creates music for genres ranging from dystopian thrillers, animated fantasies, world ending disasters to love filled dramas and happy hopeful Christmas tales.......and of course the films with man eating sharks. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Tarleton State University and has also attended Butler University to get his Masters in Composition studying under good friend and prolific composer Michael Schelle. He accredits the longevity of success and professionalism of this music to the hard working team that he has worked with for many years.
