Randall Wayne Hillger

Randall Hillger was born in Okinawa, Japan. His parents are Billy Joe
Hillger and Valerie Ann Duganitz. Both of his parents were United
States Air Force, but his mother got out shortly after having her first
son. Randall has two older brothers, Nathan Daniel Hillger and Matthew
James Hillger. After living in Okinawa for two years, they relocated to
Fredericksburg, Virginia where the young boy and his family live for
five years. Once his dad retired from the military, they moved into San
Antonio, Texas to live closer to his dad's natural roots. This is where
he spent the next 15 years of his life living.
Randall's acting career started when he was in 2nd grade. He began making homemade videos with his brothers as a fun thing to pass the time. By 4th grade, he had started learning how to play the recorder, which lead to his first on stage performance at Converse Elementary. He continued playing the recorder until he reached Woodlake Hills Middle School, where he began to take Theater Arts classes under Nancy P. Wofford. He then moved onto Judson Senior High School and took one semester of theater arts before dropping it for soccer athletics and Future Farmers of America (FFA). Most of Randall's public speaking and leadership skills came from participating actively in FFA. After high school, Randall went on to Sam Houston State University as an Agriculture Education major. After spending one semester there, he realized this wasn't what he wanted to do and dropped out to join the military. Soon enough, he was off to Basic Training for the Air Force, following in his parents footsteps. Unfortunately, two weeks into training, he had a severe reaction to an unknown substance that caused him to break out in hives. He was diagnosed with Urticaria at the time. He was then discharged from the military less than a month before he arrived. He then attended Palo Alto College in San Antonio, Texas as a Radio/TV Broadcasting major. After volunteering at the local Playhouse theater, now known as The Playhouse at San Antonio, he re-found his dream to be an actor and soon changed his major to Drama under the Director Chuck Squier. He did many plays both at the college and at the playhouse which led him to one role for a commercial on Time Warner Cable's network and two short film roles.
