Gabriela was born in Rio de Janeiro Brazil. She immigrated to the states at the age of sixteen before joining the U.S. Navy. After her days in the service, she earned her associates, bachelors and masters degrees in directing/filmmaking. In 2015 she met her soon-to-be wife, Callie Schuttera and the pair created their production company, Poison Pictures. Gabriela has produced work for companies like the LA Times, Interscope, Samsung and Capitol Records but is most passionate about writing and directing original films that have the power to spur social and political progress.
