Biography

Filip Christensen is a Norwegian producer and founder of Field Productions, based in Oslo. Since 2003, Field Productions has become one of Scandinavia’s leading producers of documentary, adventure, and action sports content, with films and series released theatrically and internationally. His recent producing credits include Savage Mountain, premiered at Sheffield DocFest; I Follow Rivers, selected for major international festivals including One World, DOK.fest München and Docs Against Gravity; and Trango, the most-watched documentary in Norwegian cinemas in 2025. Earlier credits include Momentum, winner of the Gullruten Award for Best Cinematography; Aksel, released theatrically across Europe and acquired by Viaplay; and the NRK series Jakten på monsterkveita and Jakten på monstermakrellen, both nominated for Gullruten and among NRK’s most-watched documentary series of all time. Christensen oversees development, financing, production and international partnerships across the company’s slate.
