- Julie is a Belgian filmmaker and educator based in Brooklyn, New York. Originally from a small French-speaking town in southern Belgium, she earned a Master's in Journalism from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) before studying filmmaking at The New School in New York City.
Her films have screened at major festivals including Cinequest, and the Prague International Film Festival. She has received multiple awards, including Best Picture at the Los Angeles Film Awards.
In 2024, Julie co-directed and produced Everything That Will Happen Has Already Happened, a collaborative feature selected for the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia.
She has also worked as an associate producer on The Drummer (starring Danny Glover) and the Emmy-winning series After Forever, and as an editor for clients such as Sony, Google, and Vice Media.
As an adjunct professor at the New York Film Academy, Julie mentors emerging filmmakers.
