Biography

Kylie Hitchcock is a Canadian-Australian director and writer specializing in character-driven psychological thrillers and prestige drama. She is known for grounded performances, controlled tension and an efficient on-set approach shaped by years working alongside established above-the-line creatives.

Her feature debut, shot in New York on a micro-budget, defied expectations by winning multiple international awards, including Best Drama, and securing ongoing distribution. She has since directed short films and proof-of-concept work that have screened internationally and received awards including Best Direction and Best Short Drama.

Her television experience includes second unit directing on Billy the Kid (MGM+) and My Life with the Walter Boys (Netflix), alongside additional creative experience on studio series including The Abandons (Netflix).
