Biography

Janise was the first girl born in her family in 50 years. Her Aunt Louella was 50 years old when Janise was born.

Janise's Mom, Myrtle K. Lettau (Melton) worked at Oak Ridge, TN during WWII. She was one of many who worked on the Manhattan Project.

Janise was born in Baltimore MD...but at the age of 11, her family moved to the Eastern Shore of Maryland between the towns of Chestertown and Rock Hall. Her Father worked for Remington Farms, which was owned by Remington Arms/Dupont. This was a working hunting farm, where Janise became a hunting guide at the age of 16 for visiting celebrities.
