Biography

Colin Bohm is Executive Vice President Content and Corporate Strategy at Corus Entertainment Inc.

Colin oversees Corus' original content businesses Nelvana, Corus Studios, Kids Can Press and Toon Boom, and is responsible for the company's business development and strategic planning activities, including the development of global strategic partnerships and Corus' mergers and acquisitions initiatives.

Colin began his career at Corus in 2002 as Director, Planning and Analysis, responsible for the company's financial analysis and business planning, later becoming Vice President, International of Nelvana Enterprises, then Executive Vice President, Head of Corus Kids.

He gained international experience and developed his entrepreneurial skills through a number of successful start-up ventures, including the Lanforce Consulting Group and eTour.

Colin holds a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Toronto with a focus in Finance and Strategy, and an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from McGill University.

Dec 14th, 2023: Colin Bohm has been named the new CEO of Toon Boom Animation. Most recently with Corus Entertainment, where his role as EVP of Content and Corporate Strategy was eliminated in October, Bohm's appointment comes following Corus' sale of the Montreal-based software developer to U.S. investment firm IMG. Bohm will take up his new role in January, overseeing operations and developing global strategy with a focus on expanding sales of Toon Boom's subscription-based software. Source: Broadcast Dialogue.
