My name is Michael Joy and I'm the owner of Marketing Macabre, a horror boutique public relations company created to give independent filmmakers an affordable alternative. We focus on the importance of press releases to gain momentum and we work with some of the biggest genre websites in the world. Our mission is to get your project in front of your audience, the horror public - the most devoted fan base in all of entertainment.

I'm producer at 4th Dimension Pictures along with Mario Cerrito III and John DiRenzo. Horror film, "The House In The Pines" directed by Mick Strawn and Jeremy Brown. Nick Benson will be the FX specialist.

I'm writer / producer at Joyhorror Entertainment. Horror film, 'DEAD afterlife' with attachments Michael Berryman, Bill Moseley, Kane Hodder, and professional wrestling legend, Austin Idol.

I'm operations manager of Horror News Net (ranked #2 horror website worldwide) and we recently launched distribution label "HNN Presents". This is the genesis of a new era in how people consume entertainment and we are leading the charge to a revolution. As we stand at the forefront of the film industries rebirth, it's our mission to establish the horror genre as the epicenter of the "at home" video experience.

I'm operations manager of Horror Screams Video Vault (re-launched 2021 in both U.S. and U.K.)

My acting resume includes roles in Martin Scorcese's Bleed For This, The Wrestler, Creed, Almost Mercy, and projects for History Making Productions.
