Clayton T. Smith

Clayton was raised in Foothill California with his four siblings. At 16 years old his family moved to Idaho where Clayton attended high school and embarked on a brief music career as Clay Michaels. Soon after releasing his first single, he met the legend Clint Eastwood, who encouraged him to get into acting. Clayton eventually joined the US Army, then later the Air Force, where he continued producing and recording his music and associated videos. After leaving the military, he moved to London and began his film career. Brad Pitt and Shia LaBeouf saw him training 500 extras for their film FURY, where David Ayer invited him to stay, and created a part for him as Foothill. Shia suggested the character name Foothill, as both he and Clay are from that town in California. Since then Clayton has appeared in over 40 films and continues to split his time between his home base in London and Boise Idaho.
