- Jimmy Negrón was born in Washington Heights and raised in Park Slope, Brooklyn, both in the heart of New York City. A proud Nuyorican filmmaker and producer, he is best known for directing music videos for American singer-songwriter Chloe Lowery and the New York City alternative band Chameleon.
After witnessing the events of 9/11, Jimmy paused his filmmaking career to serve his country. He joined the U.S. Army and became a Combat Veteran, Paratrooper, and Senior Jumpmaster with the elite 82nd Airborne Division. During his service, he completed three deployments, including a 15-month combat tour to Baghdad, Iraq, and took part in humanitarian operations in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina and Haiti following the devastating earthquake.
