Emma Masters is a journalist and filmmaker whose work at the ABC began in 2008, primarily as a journalist in ABC News and current affairs.
She left a full time role in the Darwin newsroom in 2011 to work as a documentary producer and director, but returns regularly as a freelance journalist.
In 2021, she produced, wrote and directed multiplatform documentary projects Crocodile Territory (2021) and Classrooms on Country.
She also produced, wrote, directed, shot second camera and edited the short documentary Uncle Vic (2021) for ABC Television, ABC iView and the Darwin International Film Festival.
Emma is currently working with ABC Audio Studios as supervising producer on a podcast series.
