Jo Lewis(VI)

Jo is an award-winning Writer, Director and Producer whose work has screened at BAFTA and BIFA-qualifying international film festivals worldwide. Her feature documentary OWEN, exploring the life and tragic death of WWE superstar Owen Hart, which filmed in the UK and Canada, was an international co-production and supported by Ontario Creates and Telefilm Canada. Her documentary #sugarwater, following the first performance by Graeae Theatre Company at London’s National Theatre, premiered at the St Louis International Film Festival, where it was selected as one of 25 key films. Jo has worked across international feature-length documentary co-productions for Discovery Channel, and her production work include films by Anthony Minghella and Ridley Scott, as well as Andrea Arnold’s Oscar-winning short WASP. Her career spans documentary, drama and emerging screen technologies, with a particular focus on distinctive, character-led stories. Jo is a voting member of BIFA and Directors UK.
