Tyson Jarvis is an Australian actor and producer with a growing body of work across feature films, television, commercials and independent productions. He trained in screen acting at NIDA for three years and has continued to build his career through a combination of professional screen work and independently produced films.
Jarvis stars in the crime feature James Gibson, which he also co-wrote, directed and produced. He is also set to play John Dykstra in an adaptation of Stephen King’s Rest Stop, for which he acquired adaptation rights and co-wrote the screenplay. The project is currently in pre production. He will also lead The Mason Murders, a psychological horror feature he is co-writing and producing.
His screen work includes a role alongside Nathan Phillips, as well as appearances in Coffee with Ana, Private Sales and The Ken Allen Project during time spent working in Los Angeles. He has also appeared in numerous Australian commercial campaigns and previously co-directed and voiced Robbie Miller in the animated short I’ll Come Back For You.
Alongside his acting work, Jarvis continues to develop and produce independent projects, with a particular focus on character-driven crime, thriller and psychological material.
