- A convicted murderer, along with her partner Ian Brady, she killed 2 children Lesley Ann Downey and Edward Evans in the 1960s. She was also convicted of assisting in a third murder (harbouring the murderer in the knowledge that the latter had killed), that of John Kilbride. Hindley's partner Ian Brady, was convicted of the murder of all 3 children.
