Sotiris Petridis was born on January 9th, 1990 in Thessaloniki, Greece. He holds a Ph.D. in Film Studies and a master's degree in Art, Law and Economy. He is best known for his work as a producer and a screenwriter in e-Social (2015) and White Collar (2016). His directoral debut is #NotAlone (2017), a short horror film about social media.

He made a cameo appearance in the first scene of the film <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/title/tt3043944/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">The Balloon (2013)</a>.

He made a cameo appearance as a hologram in <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/title/tt3653778/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">e-Social (2015)</a>.

He is a member of the Screenwriters Guild of Greece.

He is a member of the European Film Academy.

He is a member of the Hellenic Film Academy.
