Biography

Justine Magnusson is an American actress, writer, producer, and singer-songwriter. She got her start in acting at the age of 16 when she was cast in the National Tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Whistle Down the Wind. She then earned her BFA in Drama from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Upon graduation , Justine worked on several independent film projects and became a resident actor at the Mountain Playhouse from 2016-2019. She originated the role of Sue in the world premiere of Home Street Home by NOFX frontman, Mike Burkett and Avenue Q writer, Jeff Marx at Z Space in San Francisco. Justine produced The Glass Menagerie directed by Academy Award Winner Milton Justice as part of the MS Delta Tennessee Williams Festival, for which she also played the role of Laura Wingfield. She is also a songwriter. Her debut EP, One Less Person was produced by Marc Orrell and is available now on all streaming platforms.
