Lucio Basadonne is an Italian director, producer and film editor.
After 12 years of experience as a TV director, Lucio Basadonne began operations as an independent producer, opening his own production company in 2010. The first documentary of national importance is "Unleaning", which after participating in 15 festival, won 5 prizes and was screened in over 100 Italian theatres. Now, an Italian case study for crowdfunded productions with an active community participation.
In 2017, Lucio Basadonne produced and distributed his second film " Figli della Libertà" which is screened in 80 cinemas and debuts in Europe through Streaming).
In 2018 relationships with Italian distributor MovieDay are consolidated, as they manage the launch of four international documentaries.
Since 2016 the company has been affiliated with DOC/IT, through which it participates in relevant international events.
In 2018, participating in "EsoDoc", "Dok Incubator" and IDS Academy expands the company's international collaborators network.
In 2020 produces, the project "Making of Love": a fiction movie "Edoné" ad a Docu series of 6 episodes for Italian television (that he directed with Anna Pollio).
