Aris Federman is a Director, Producer, and Cinematographer, and the Co-Founder of Blue Oak Productions.
He has produced, written, and directed a variety of films and creative projects. His most recent film, Tin Soldiers, won the Jury Award for Best Cinematography at the 2025 Santa Fe Film Festival and has screened at festivals across the country.
Aris received his BFA in Acting from Pace University and attended the Tennessee Governor's School for the Arts. His early training as an actor quickly evolved into a love of filmmaking, which continues to drive his work today.
To Aris, stories are the ultimate expression of empathy. Historically, they have always brought people from different walks of life together. Be it by a campfire, in a theater, or on a screen - stories have the power to unite. Wherever stories are told, people gather. Aris intends to use his voice as an artist to continue the tradition of unity, empathy, and togetherness through storytelling.
