Narelle is an award-winning independent filmmaker and actor from Sydney, Australia. In January 2026, Narelle won the Best Female Creative Award at SF3 (Sydney SmartFone Flick Fest) for her short film 'Viol8te', which premiered at the Sydney Opera House. Narelle is dedicated to telling stories shot exclusively through smartphones. She is a one-woman-show who writes, directs and edits her own films. She is known for shooting with small budgets, tiny crews, in natural lighting and with minimal external equipment. Narelle is also an actress who has appeared most notably in the TV Series 'Puberty Blues' and 'Deadly Women', as well as various independent films.
