Sophia Gennusa

Sophia Gennusa (Born October 23, 2003) is an American child actress and singer known for portraying the role of Matilda Wormwood in the original Broadway cast of Matilda the Musical in 2013. She shared this role with three other actresses, Bailey Ryon, Milly Shapiro and Oona Lawrence and each girl received a Tony Honor and a Grammy nomination for their work as Matilda. Sophia is the youngest actress in Broadway history to win a Tony honor. She was nine years old and two years later, she played the role of Young Lara/Young Katarina in the original Broadway cast of Doctor Zhivago in 2015.
in 2016, Sophia was one of the featured soloists for the new Theme song for Sesame Street. She's also a featured soloist for the Broadway Kids Against Bullying: I Have a Voice.
Sophia played Hannah Shepherd on NBC's, The Enemy Within, starring Jennifer Carpenter as Erica Shepherd along with Morris Chestnut as agent Will Keaton.
