Seren Oroszvary is an actress known for Beat and Breath (2012) and Knock Out (2013).

She was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia to a Hungarian father and Australian-Irish mother. From age seven she was performing with the Young Australian Broadway Chorus and later attended the Verve Studios Professional Teen Actors Studio and Peninsula Acting School. She was shortlisted for the Bell Shakespeare Regional Scholarship with a monologue from 'A Comedy of Errors' and invited to perform an original solo 'The Diva' at the Melbourne Recital Centre. Throughout her school years she took on small roles in commercials and television productions.

Seren attended The University of Melbourne and Lund University in Sweden completing a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Creative Writing and English and Theatre Studies. During that time she took classes under Aleksi Vellis at The Film Space, played in short films with the Victorian College of Arts and Swinburne University and performed in various theatre productions with Union House Theatre, Melbourne University Shakespeare Company, FLW theatre and La Mama theatre in Carlton. In her final year of university, she trained in the NIDA Actors Studio 1-year course, was the role of Jenny in the cult classic 'The Claw' by RedSea Productions and co-founded Balloon Head Theatre Company. During that time she wrote and directed the musical 'Raffles on Capri' based on the songs of Australian band Benny and The Dukes and received the Louise Homfrey Award for best performance as Amanda in their production of 'Private Lives'.

Later she attended the summer acting program at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London, going on to perform at Edinburgh Fringe Festival with Almeida Theatre Young Company's performance 'From The Ground Up' where she played the role of Ms. Yellow. She moved to attend the Copenhagen Film and Theatre School in Denmark, during which time she also made her Copenhagen stage debut as Nina in 'Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike' produced by Down The Rabbit Hole Theatre Company at Huset Teater and performed at the Danish Film Festival CPH PIX. After graduating with a Diploma in Acting, she continued in the English-speaking theatre scene in Copenhagen to perform Terry in Harold Pinter's 'Party Time' at Literaturhaus and Candy in 'Feminine Octagon [or, Aristotle Can Eat Me]' at Folketeatret. She collaborated on a collection of short films with Danish company Day Orange Film. Their film 'Juiciness' received the runner up award at the LA Coffee Film Festival.

Seren relocated to Tallinn, Estonia for two years undertaking the Masters in CPPM (Contemporary Physical Performance Making) at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. She performed in a variety of projects including the 99-hour performance 'Kuhu Minek', an original solo at Von Krahl Theatre, 'Drag Show Vol.2' at Sakala 3 Theatre, immersive aural performance 'Dis Em Body Ed' at Kanuti Gildi Saal, as well as co-created YourSpace a 24-hour online interactive performance produced by Kanuti Gildi Saal and elektron.ee. She worked as an English tutor and did voice over commercials for The Baltic Fish Association, BOLT and Estonian Adventure Parks. She took part in the video artwork 'The Lost Supper' in the Virtual Exhibition of the Seychelles Lockdown Biennale 2020-2021 and also created and directed the site-specific multimodal performance 'A Body To Dwell' that premiered at CPPM Manifestal 2021.

Upon completing the MA Seren returned to London for one year to work with immersive theatre companies Punchdrunk and Secret Cinema and was artist in residence at Blast Theory Studios UK.
