Biography

As an accomplished and award winning director, Jody is best known for her quirky, clever comedic storytelling style inspired by her extensive improv comedy background. She's been featured as one of SHOOT Magazines "New Directors," won a Gracie Award as well as a handful of digital and branded content Make-an-Ad competitions. Her work has been screened at the Tribeca Film Festival, Coachella Music Fest, and received recognition from competitions associated with the BFI London Film Festival and the Cannes Lions Int'l Advertising Festival. Jody regularly writes, produces, and directs the ongoing, original, viral, comedy improv series "SKITTERED: Your tweet, made funny." Miller cut her teeth in the business working as an award winning on-staff producer with NFL Films where she had a hand in many of the most notable NFL productions to date.

Jody's documentary "Just Ad Man" is an ambitious, important and hilarious project taking on sexism in filmmaking & advertising and is currently shooting in both LA and NYC.
