Said de la Cruz

Said Orlando is a writer, screenwriter, actor, film director and researcher. He has been writing since he was fourteen. He has a BA in Film Directing and a (to be completed) Master's in Project Management. He has been a professor of media and creative writing for two decades. There he has taught Visual Narrative, Archetypes and Mythology, Narrative Techniques, Script for Television Series, Script for Videogames and Script among a dozen courses. He has published short stories, poetry and novels. At the same time, he has developed a solid methodology for writers and screenwriters called the Character Method, which has been the subject of the book Learning to Write: Some Topics on Creative Writing and Screenplay, published in mid-2016.
