Actor - Comic - Filmmaker

Carla Johnston is best known for her work on Life & Beth, Orange is the New Black and What Would You Do? She is a Stand-Up Comic and has been the host at Gotham, The Stand, Caroline's and other venues in NYC. She has rooted herself in the indie film scene and has written, produced and starred in several award-winning films.

One of her favorite stage roles was playing Monika in the Off-Broadway hit Morticians In Love at the Perry Street Theatre. Most recently, she was featured as a judgy music critic in Ariana Grande's latest video "yes, and?...that has garnered millions of views.

When she's not acting, Carla is dinking around on the Pickleball court, binging on Skinny Pop and the latest series, and letting her ornery Cockapoo, Oliver, get away with murder.

You may have caught her dancing in the cranberry bog for Ocean Spray, a national spot that played during the Super Bowl.
