Michael-David McKernan is an actor and filmmaker from Ireland, previously long-listed for an Oscar and nominated for a Young Directors Award at Cannes Lions.
He is the director of multiple short films that have screened internationally at film festivals such as Tribeca, Odense, Flickerfest Australia, Dublin, Galway and BFI Flare.
He made his filmmaking debut with HALO, a single-shot narrative short which won Best Director: Irish Short at Cork International Film Festival.
His short documentary, How to Fall in Love in a Pandemic, screened at Tribeca Film Festival and qualified for the Oscars long-list after winning Best Short Documentary at Galway Film Fleadh, as well as 9 other international festival awards.
