- Jonathan Pierce is a writer, director, actor from Tulsa, Oklahoma, whose approach to comedy is best depicted in shorts like The Turtleneck Club & The Art Interview. The son of Ed Pierce, a college music professor and Sandy Pierce a private piano teacher, Jonathan's first movie endeavor began in his teens with Cai Chi and was followed by the fight film, Annihilation Celebration. Receiving an opportunity to direct his high school drama class, Jonathan wrote, directed and acted in the Captain Robert and the Search for Magni-tron Transmitters, a play that is planned to be adapted to film in the future. Shortly after, Jonathan formed Thinkpierce Films through Thinkpierce.com, which showcases Thinkpierce Films, Oklahoma made films, as well as films that fall within a zany or creative style. In 2002 Jonathan wrote, directed and acted in The Businessmen of Bemmington Daycare, followed by The Turtleneck Club in 2005. While operating a small remodeling business in 2009, Jonathan brought a camera along to each job creating The Utica Remodeling Show. Later in 2013, creating a handful of outlandish art pieces, Jonathan directed and edited the ad-libbed style short, The Art Interview. Jonathan's future plans include a film-adapted version of Captain Robert and the Search for Magni-tron Transmitters.
